Today is when it begins. I have taken the first step to the renewal challenge. It was a big step for me, but if I am to help women and promote a product, then I need to know how the product works.
First an introduction is in order. I am Cindy, my nickname is Cyn. I am an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. (Meaning I sell their product but I am not an actual employee in the Mary Kay business) I should stress that from the beginning. In fact, this blog is just one of those things I have not read up on, but it is definitely more personal for me.
Today I began to use the Timewise Repair Set. It was a big decision for me, but one that I think I needed to do. I have been faithful to the Miracle Set for three years now. Well, as faithful as a person can be that typically only washed their face with soap and water.
I did not join Mary Kay so that I could get their make-up, I made it as a business decision. I need a car. Mary Kay will give me a car - once I meet some requirements. It is up to me to get the car that is waiting for me. I am not a make-up girly girl. Or rather I should say, I wasn't. Slowly, I have started wearing make-up more. I have been blessed with a youthful appearance, but now that I am closing in on 40 I am noticing the wrinkles more and more.
So, that being said - something must be done. The Repair set was very easy to do. You apply the foaming cleanser first. I can tell the difference between it and the regular 3-in-1 Cleanser. It is thicker and goes even further. I was not too sure if I liked it at first, but after I washed it off, my face was already smoother. So, step one definitely had it's advantages.
I also added in another product I have not used before, the Passionfruit Sugar Scrub. Oh my goodness, I fell in love with it. It did not foam, and I was not too happy with that, but when I was washing it off - that is when the joy began. There was no need for lotion when I got out of the shower. I loved it!
Then I finished the steps of the repair kit - the lifting serum, which shocked me in the package, the day solution, and finally the eye cream. My face feels lighter like magic is going on. It's time to finish putting on my face for the day and run out the door!
